Maintenance Advice regarding RRK and its stainless steel blade:
The R.R.K® is produced in high quality (425) stainless steel, with advanced technological processes and is guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship. The alloy utilised resists normal rusting, but it needs care and attention to prevent stains. Please, wash your knife with fresh water, dry and than coat the blade with WD 40 or similar water repellent. To prevent any stains developing please maintain daily.

425 stainless steel has a high carbon content, and under certain environmental conditions will develop superficial signs of oxidation. These stains can be easily removed with steel wool or light scourer. Only 304 stainless steel offers a better resistance to rust but it is unsuitable for use as a cutting steel.
