Harken Ninja MultiAscend Ascender
The Harken Ninja is a multi use ascender manufactured to be used as a chest ascender or hand ascender. The Harken Ninja is designed to be used with ropes of between 9 and 13mm in diameter.
Ascenders come in a variety of different shapes and sizes and are designed to allow the user to ascend a rope or wire. The traditional hand ascenders / Jammers normally have toothed cams which lock on to a rope when the device is loaded but unlock when the device is unweighted and pushed upwards.
